[so cheap, so easy]: Projects with Glitter

It's Thursday, right? I know most of you are in full swing working on your New Year's resolutions and blah, blah, blah. Not me. It takes me a while to get back into the swing of things, especially when Hubs is home sick, and I can't even keep track of the days. Ehhh, I'll start fresh next week.

I am LOVING all of the gold glitter I am seeing on PinterestI know. It was most likely because of the holidays, but quite frankly, do we really need a reason to use excessive amounts of glitter? I think not. Plus with the absence of Christmas decor, my place could use a happy little pick-me-up. Apparently, you can just mix it with Mod Podge and paint it right on. That, my friends, sounds like a great idea.

  3. I actually am not a fan of the mess glitter makes, but I, too, just discovered putting mod podge on it and voila...I love it now. My son recently just found the worlds largest tree leaf and I let him paint it and add glitter to it, then we modge podged it and it is hanging in his room. No more glitter fear over here!!!

  5. There is something about glitter that makes the little girl inside of me giddy. I wonder what my husband would think of glittered bedroom walls... ;) Perhaps I should stick to these cute little projects.
