I hope you all had a great weekend. We had such a lazy day on Saturday, and I loved every minute of it! You know how last Monday I was all, "I'm going to be healthy," and "I'm not going to eat junk food until the Superbowl." Well, whatever. I needed a McFlurry on Saturday. j is for JORDY Design Board

I got a fun little package in the mail today: my j is for JORDY print! I ordered the print for a friend, and I have to tell you, I am IN LOVE with it! I can't wait to give her for her new baby's nursery, even though I kind of want to keep it for myself. Then again, it would be kind of weird to hang a "J is for Johnston" print in my home. The print inspired this design board, that quite frankly, was a little dream shopping spree of mine from Serena & Lily and Land of Nod (and a few other faves including ElemenOPillows.) Okay, so I have a confession. I'm going to tell you, and you're not going to judge me. At least not out loud. Some of you may laugh, and some of you may roll your eyes. But, any of you who know me personally will most likely not be surprised. So here goes: on Sundays, I make sure that my family's outfits coordinate. Not anything too crazy and not matchy-matchy...just coordination. My sweet, sweet husband asks me if we are wearing brown or black since all of his slacks and shoes are either in the brown or black family, and we go from there. (I know. He should get a prize. He knows it's easier to ask first than to have to change.) If it matters, he does pick out his own ties. Except for last Sunday. It was a "black" day, and Stella was wearing her birthday dress, so I suggested that Mr. Hubs wear a pink tie. He asked me which one, so I tried to explain it. After a while, he said, "Oh, the fuchsia one?" I started laughing that he said the word fuchsia, but at the same time, I totally had a proud wife moment. This morning I ran all of my errands. I dropped off a package at the UPS Store; I returned a pair of shoes; I went to the dollar store; I went to Costco; I went to the grocery store; And THEN I noticed that my zipper was down. Awesome.
