Shut. The Front Door.

Kind of loving these colorful doors, and wouldn't it be fun to say, "I live in the house with the yellow (fuchsia, turquoise) door?" I know. I'm a dork. But, you must admit, you think it would be kind of cool, too. For now, I'll just continue to tell people to keep driving around until they see the right house number. See? Not nearly as fun.

  1. Love these! God, this makes me yearn for suburban life. I don't think I'm allowed to paint the front door of my brownstone- since I don't own it!

  2. I love love love these doors. My first goal, when I eventually buy the home (if the SousPug EVER stops getting sick) is to make sure the front door reflects my style :) Most of the doors here in Philly in homes I see are seriously neglected and have no "za za zu" factor.

    1. Gotta love the za za zu factor! I agree on reflecting your style. These doors make me think that the people inside must be totally fabulous! Yes. I'm judging a book by its cover!

  4. We have lived in our house for Five years now and we finally painted our front door. I went to Home Depot, got six color sample paints, came home got my sponge brush and painted every color on the front door, then thought, "crap, I love them all and Tony isn't going to like what I've done here!" It stayed multi-colored for two weeks until I narrowed it down to pink or coral (Tony didn't like either, I mean what man wants to walk through a pink door everyday?!) We went with coral, and I love it! I think front doors should be painted seasonally, seriously so fun!
