[color kreyv]: Black

Who would have ever thought that painting your walls black would look so fabulous? I love it. It's so absolutely sophisticated, and the white contrast is dee-vine. I think I would do black in a formal dining room, except I don't really want a formal dining room. Hmmm. Who wants to paint their formal dining room black, so I can enjoy it? Anyone, anyone?

    I love it! If I had a formal dining room I would paint it and send you pics to enjoy...but there is nothing formal about my home! Most of my walls are dark brown. I've taken some criticism from my family over the "darkness". I have white accents because I also love the dark and light contrast. I figure it's just paint, so why not be bold if that's how you're feeling? Thanks for sharing! I love your ideas, you've always been a girl with style!!

    I love the drama of this room, but having painted all the trim, doors, and windows in a room black, and then having to undo it to sell the place, I am reluctant to do black in a room again :)
