[color kreyv]: Salmon

Yes, it's CLEARLY salmon; not pink, not peach, salmon. Remember the episode of Friends, aka THE best show of all time, where Ross leaves his shirt at Mona's house? Everyone keeps calling the shirt pink, and Ross corrects them each time by telling them it's actually salmon. That crazy Ross, he knew what he was talking about. Anywho, love the show, love the color.  P.S. I welcome anyone who ever dares challenge me at a game of Friends Scene It.  Just putting that out there.

I'm Alive...and I Need a Canopy Bed

We made it to Utah on Tuesday, and I'm exhausted. Still. We drove 25 hours from St. Louis to Salt Lake City with only a two hour stop. Stella was amazing. She either watched shows or slept the entire way. Plus, she kind of speaks Spanish now from watching 15 plus hours of Dora. She's been dropping Spanish words here and there, and they're even in context. I'm not proud of how she learned it, but whatever works, right? Correcto.

In the meantime, even through my exhaustion, I'm really thinking Stella needs a canopy bed. Her new room is bigger with a vaulted ceiling...it's practically screaming for a canopy bed or was that me?. So, stay tuned, I might just be selling a less than one year old white tufted headboard...and it will be the one time I'm grateful Mr. Hubs will be busy studying for his board exam, because, let's be honest, he really doesn't need to be included in that conversation. Aren't these marvelous? Si, maravillosas!

Canopy Beds: I'll Take Two

I know I usually post a few pictures, but these beds, these little pieces of heaven right here on earth, need their own post. Have you ever seen anything so dreamy? Sigh. I think I'm in love.

Let's Try This Again, Shall We?

Five. Forty. One. This is the time that Stella woke up this morning, which is at least two hours earlier than usual. With all of our traveling, guests, and the fact that she hasn't slept in her own bed for over two weeks, she has been progressively waking up earlier and earlier each morning. I, on the other hand, have been going to bed later and later AND waking up earlier, thanks to my cute little alarm clock. Bad combination. Here's to getting back to a routine, because this momma loves her routines (and a little more sleep). Let's try this again, shall we?

Gimme Some A Dat

Sleep. We need more sleep at our house. I'm so tired that I just want to live in one of these totally gorgeous beds, shut the drapes, and sleep the day away. Is that too much to ask? Meanwhile, Jeremy has had a horrendous schedule this month and just returned from a conference in Chi-Town. He went to bed at 8:00 tonight. He's a little sleepy himself, and don't even get me started on his allergies. Gross, just gross. Dude, take your Zyrtec, or I'm going to have to regulate. Geez, I'm so ghetto when I'm tired.

So, I'm laying in bed watching the Real Housewives of New Jersey Reunion. It's still hard for me to admit that I watch that show, but let's just not hold it against me. Anyway, Jeremy starts talking to me about a balloon pump and a patient somewhere doing something, and he doesn't realize he's talking in his sleep, but he's trying to carry on a conversation with me, but at the same time he really thinks he's rounding at the hospital.  Then, he asks me, "What room did this used to be?" He tried to convince me he wasn't asleep, but he just kept on talking about the hospital. I told him to go back to sleep. Poor boy needs a break! Perhaps he needs one of these beds as well. Oh, did you think I was going to share mine with him? Not when he's talking crazy talk. No way.
