[in five]: Thanksgiving Inspiration
I'm not going to say that I can't believe it's already Thanksgiving, but, well, it is...aaaand, I guess I lied, because I did say it. I love Thanksgiving. I love the reminder to acknowledge all of our blessings; I love the place settings, the ridiculous amount of complex carbohydrates, and the fact that I get out of hosting every. Single. Year. It's no secret that I don't like to cook, which is EXACTLY why I am GRATEFUL for my family and friends that graciously host us every year. See what I did there?
Check out some of my favorite Thanksgiving inspiration. I am dying over these to-go boxes. You can check out the deets here (it's a free printable).

[in five]: Favorite Easter Ideas
Don't worry…you do have a little more time before Easter, but I just wanted to give you plenty of time to prepare. I'm not going to lie: these are all adorable. I mean really, that bunny cake (that I am pretty sure I won't be attempting); the bunny tails (more my speed); the place setting (adorbs); the Easter tablescape (you know I can't resist sticks); and the bunny tail drink stirrers (perfect for stirring my Crystal Light and Sprite); they are all super cute. If you are hosting Easter dinner, you need these things in your life. This year, my family is going to Texas. I'm super excited to go visit my favorite sister, but I'll be honest, I'm not excited to drive there. And back. For fourteen hours. Each way. She better have a coconut bunny cake waiting for me there.

[in five]: Favorite Rugs
I love a good rug and think they are necessary for a good room design. They anchor the room, define the space, and add color, pattern, and/or texture. Really…they're a must. Today I'm showing you five of my currents faves.
If you've been reading this blog for a while, you may remember these shenanigans that Hubs so graciously put up with. I may or may not have gone into detail on the amount of rugs that also got returned (...and kept). So, even though he was so nice about it, I swear, he will not forget about it. In his mind, I buy rugs every day and have a closet full of them. He obviously likes a good story. He was making fun of me for it the other day and decided that since I have so many rugs, I probably need a rug room, with a rug rack, like the kind they have in stores. He was joking, but I think it sounds kind of genius. (That's right, Jeremy, you made fun of me, but who's going to be laughing when I really want a rug room?!) Some people want walk-in closets, I just happen to want a walk-in rug room. Ok, we all know I want both. (And, for the record, three rugs is NOT a "closet full of rugs". Such an exaggerator.)

[in five]: Favorite Valentine Pins
Today I'm sharing my favorite Valentine's Day pins from my Valentine Pinterest Board. (You should totally follow me.) These ideas are so cute and different than anything I've seen lately. You should definitely make these, if, in fact, you are one of the few who actually do the things you pin. I'm not going to lie--I'm not going to make any one of these things, but I sure do like to collect pretty pictures. Aaanndd I'm pretty good at it, too, if I do say so myself. (What a talent, right?!) I do have good intentions of making the things I pin, though. I really do. Except for maybe my recipe boards…talk about a pipe dream.

[in five]: Favorite DIY Christmas Ornaments
Hey there! How was your weekend? Ours was great, besides the snow, or, if you're into that kind of thing, let me rephrase…that snow sure is beautiful, and I love sliding around the ice in my car! (Was that convincing?) I actually don't mind it as long as I never have to touch it or drive in it. Is that too much to ask?
In other news, I actually made some progress with the Christmas decor around the casa. Can you believe it? We had a church meeting on Saturday night, and I volunteered had to stay home with Stella, so I made ornaments. Now, if I can just muster the strength to take pictures. (Good thing I'm not at all dramatic.)
Here are five of my fave DIY Christmas ornaments (links to original posts are under each image). I made the geometric ornaments--super easy, super cheap, super chic…just the way I like it! How's your decor coming along? At my pace, mine may be all up by December 24th. Maybe.

[in five]: Favorite Lil' Gifts
I'm sure you're well-aware that Thanksgiving is in a week, and then you-know-what is right around the corner. (You know I'm talking about Christmas, right? Just checking.) I like to get a jump on things--or at least think about getting a jump on things--before it gets too crazy. Here are some of my favorite lil' gifts for people like teachers, neighbors, and other special people that need a little somethin' somethin'. Obviously, it's all about the presentation…and the thought, of course. Original links are below each picture.
