Okay, onward...remember learning about the color wheel in elementary school? You've got your primary colors, secondary colors, tertiary colors, and your complementary colors. Complementary colors are the colors opposite each other on the color wheel, and quite frankly, they look fantastic together! As Paula Abdul once said, "Opposites attract." (Okay, I promise I will never quote Paula Abdul again. It was a weak moment.)
I wouldn't say the hubs and I are complete opposites, but let's just say we are "complementary".
He's laid back. I'm uptight not so laid back. He's a science nerd. I'm a little more artsy. He loves the outdoors. I like the 72 degree controlled climate of a mall. He would wear flip flops every day of his life if he could. I wear stilettos almost every day. He gets cabin fever. I'm a home-body. He's not so tidy. I'm a clean freak. He says extra cheese. I say no cheese. We have a lot of differences, but, quite frankly, we're fabulous together!
I love bold. However, I've met just as many people who have their houses in light pink that are bold too.
ReplyDeleteI found you from Ucreate and I have to tell you that I think that you are fabulous! I've been checking out your blog and had to laugh when you said that you couldn't draw a straight line, cut a straight line or put nail head trim on in a straight line. We are KINDRED spirits. If my life depended on whether or not I could do, I would surely die! I love your lampshade and I can't wait to see other awesomeness you have on here! Happy Day!
ReplyDeleteJust to make sure that I seal the deal on you thinking that I am one of those blog stalkers..I think that you are beautiful! not in the weird, creepy way...:)
