6th Street's Feature Friday

I am SO excited to have our home featured today on 6th street design school's Feature Friday! Kirsten is super talented and is such an inspiration. (She's kind of a big deal!) I'm so honored! Go check it out!

  7. I found your blog via Kirsten's. You have great taste and a beautiful family.I LOVE your sunburst mirror with the sticks. I couldn't find a tutorial on it.(just the one with spoons) Could you direct me to it? Thanks,Sherri

    I couldn't find the right type of mirror, so I bought a mirror at Michaels (I think 12") as well as two of the wooden hoops (also 12") that can be found in the floral/wreath section. (Sorry I don't know the name.) I spray painted the hoops dark brown to match the sticks, then glued both of the hoops together, then onto the mirror. Then, I glued the sticks to the outside hoop. Hope this helps. I am working on adding links and source lists to my home tour.
