Did everyone have a crazy and wild New Year's like I did? I think we were all in bed and asleep by nine (and that could very well be pushing it). It was just me and my two sickies, and since the two of them have been managing to wake me up about once every two hours at night, I thought going to bed was a great way to ring in 2013. I'm crazy like that.
Back in 2012 (ha ha), Pantone announced emerald as 2013's color of the year. I am a huge fan of green, and though I have loved Pantone's past choices, I think emerald is much more timeless than the rest. Plus, isn't green just a great way to start anew? Here's what I found out about green: Green is the color of nature, fertility, life. Grass green is the most restful color. Green symbolizes self-respect and well being. Green is the color of balance. It also means learning, growth and harmony. Green is a safe color, if you don't know what color to use anywhere use green. (crystal-cure.com) Sounds pretty legit, right? I thought so, too. Here's to a Happy New Year with lots of learning, growth, harmony, and if you don't know what else to do, always choose green!
